The White Swan Hotel

An inn with this name has been here since at least the 1820s. Notice the tripartite windows on the first floor. This hotel has been a centre for celebrations in the town for many years, hosting the Rotary Club of Duns, the Burns Supper, some Reiver's Week events and, in the past, weddings, dances and unusual events such as 'The Doo Dinner' — a gathering of the local pigeon fanciers.
